Sashay to Hell
7digital have launched themselves into the moshpits of Bloodstock festival to create Sashay to Hell: an affectionate clash of LGBTQ+ and heavy metal culture.
James Barr and Dan Hudson of the hit podcast A Gay and a Non-Gay travelled to this full-on festival to see if Dan (straight metal fan) could convince James (gay pop fan) to appreciate the soft side of the hard rock tribe.
Guests include featuring Venom Prison, Cradle of Filth, Evil Scarecrow, Skindred, Sophie K (Kerrang! Radio) and Daniel P Carter (Radio 1).
BBC Radio Visualisation commissioned 7digital to create an eye-popping OMG/LOL film for a youth audience. Sashay to Hell follows 7digital’s other videos for the Radio 1 iPlayer Channel, including Broken Heart Beats and My Deaf Life with Jessica Kellgren-Fozard. We also produced The Gaming Show video series.
7digital’s TV productions include Cambridge Folk Festival (Sky Arts and BBC Four), the Radio 2 Folk Awards (BBC Four) and a documentary about the Bolshoi Ballet for Sky Arts.
